Thinking About Exterior Changes?
A screened in porch might be nice, a new driveway, or maybe
new windows. Just a new coat of paint to spruce things up.
Whatever your plans, take a few moments to check with
architectural control before you begin. Our
architecture--it's part of what makes our HOA unique.

Wednesday Movie
This week's movie at the Ramada on Wednesday at 7:00
p.m. is My Big Fat Greek Wedding. A young Greek
woman falls in love with a non-Greek and struggles to get
her family to accept him while she comes to terms with her
heritage and cultural identity. Thanks, Jane and
Eric Ellingson for hosting this event, but did you
really have to choose a movie with the words "big" and "fat"
right after Thanksgiving and the start of the food focused
holiday season?

It Sure Cleans Up Nice
Thanks to everyone who helped out to give the Ramada it's
annual clean up.

Holiday Potluck
Mark your calendars so you don't miss the next Hospitality
event on Thursday, December 15. This will
be a sweet and savory potluck, so please bring your favorite
finger food, cookies, hearty appetizers, mulled wine, hot
cider or other tasty treat.

Holiday Decorations
The EE common areas are taking on a festive look thanks to
the many volunteers led by the Enhancement Team who turned
out to decorate. Lamp posts are looking especially nice
this year too. Residents are starting to get in the spirit
of the season.

Author/Musician Collaboration
Local Author J. A. Winrich showcases her collaboration with
with guitarist Peter Biedermann at the Joyner-Green Valley
Library on Monday, December 5 at 1 pm. The
public is invited to join the Santa Cruz Chapter of the
Society of Southwestern Authors.

A New Tucson Experience
Think you've seen all there is to see in Tucson? Check out
Tucson's most unusual attractions at atlasobscura.
From the Gallery in the Sun to the Valley of the Moon,
you'll want to check it out.

Watch Your Step
If you had to spend a night outdoors in EE, which spot would
you pick to sleep? The street or a cement walkway that
retain some warmth from the sun would be an ideal place.
Snakes know to sleep there too, so if you are coming home
after snakes have retired for the night, watch where you
step and carry a flashlight if you are out walking. Several
EE residents have recently reported close encounters of the
rattling kind.

The Holiday Elves Are Back
Don't be a grinch. EE has a long-standing tradition of
decorating our street light posts for the holiday season
from Thanksgiving to New Years. To all our new
residents, if you are unsure on how to proceed and want
to do your own, please call the Enhancement Elves for
free advice. To the rest of you, if you don't have the
time, or the energy, or you aren't here during the
holidays, you can enlist the aid of the Elves. They
will do your decorating for a mere $10 if you have the
decorations or $15 if you don't. If you need the
electrical plug-in to go in the socket in your post, the
charge is an additional $2.00, but the adapter then
becomes yours. The charge includes both putting up and
removing the decorations. The Elves start right after
Thanksgiving and the deadline for requesting this
service is December 15, so if you want the Elves to work
their magic at your lamp post, call Jackie
Rautio at 269-7864. They do
extremely nice work.
